K-ICE (Korea – International Culture and Education) is a program created by International Global Network which focuses on culture and education to support youth development in a globalized world. K-ICE delegates are meant to enhance their full potentials in this program by discussing and exchanging ideas to solve sociocultural and educational problems, while building a long-lasting friendship with other participants.

K-ICE is a place for youth to learn about culture and education from various countries, especially South Korea, as well as to prepare themselves for challenges in the future. This program is open to students/youth and learners desiring a short-term program about Korean culture and education.

Participants Requirements

If you are a Youth from 17-26 years old from Asia Pacific Region, then you are eligible to join.

Series of Activities

Welcoming dinner

First meeting to welcome all of the participants to build a strong relationship and introducing the staff. In this session participants will also be divided into some groups and be given a project that they will do during the program.


South Korea is one of the top performing countries in terms of education and literacy in Asia and the world. There is a term called “SKY” in South Korea standard, Seoul National University, Korea University and Yonsei University are considered the most prestigious institution in the country. We will visit two of universities in South Korea to understand history and vision of universities directly.

Closing Ceremony

Closing Ceremony will consist of Team Presentation, Symposium and Cultural Performance and Awarding Session.

Kimchi Making Experience

When people talk about Korea, they will never forget about Kimchi! In K-ICE 2019, we will provide you special class to make your own Kimchi with experts and make the participants more familiar with Korean culture.

Cultural Exhibition

Participants from each country has to represent their own culture and country. We will provide simple booth for country representative to present their country’s uniqueness. From this cultural exhibition, we want to inspire people to discover more about our world and embrace rich cultural diversity

Personal Assistant

Let Us Take Care Of You!

Personal Assistant (PA) is a new service provided by Korea International, Culture and Education (K-ICE) in order to have a one-on-one personal relationship with our selected applicants. Take note, easier access to communication will really help you to prepare for the event. Our PA will take care of your matter, therefore you can handle your own personal preparation. You don’t have to worry about the safety for we have chosen the best person to be your PA. He has been thoroughly screened based on his capabilities as well as his professionalism aspect
